This is a simple program that offers a discount on an initial repair (not replacement) and also protects your budget should a major appliance or system breaks down in the future.

 

The program covers the expense of repairing or replacing appliances and systems such as your HVAC, electric and plumbing systems when they break down due to normal, everyday use.

 

Pause and ask the customer if they have any questions so far. If no questions, proceed,if questions address. Some of the questions they may have will be covered below.

 

How does it work?

You will get a 50% discount off your repair up to $500 when you sign up for a warranty plan. 

 

When one of your covered appliance or system stops working, go to my.serviceextend.com or call Service Extend’s toll-free number to place a claim.

If it is a trade our company services, we may visit your home to diagnose and remedy the problem. You should only pay your set service call fee and let Service Extend take care of the rest.

 

Get confirmation that customer understands the program or ask if they have any other questions. Let the customer know that once they have the repair cost at that time they can purchase the warranty and take advantage of the promotion discount.

 

Enrollment Process Online

  • Enrollment has to occur prior to the repairs being performed.
  • Have technician text or email a copy of the repair cost to you and put the customer on the phone.
  • Have the following information ready to process the enrollment.
    • Your main company phone number as it appears in Service Bench
    • Equipment Repaired
    • Total Retail Cost of Repair
    • Service Explanation
    • Go to www.serviceextend.com to complete the enrollment information.
  • Follow the 3 simple steps.
    • Enter your name in the Technician Field.
    • Fill out the customer information and request their credit card information. IMPORTANT: Ensure you review the 3 check box items with the customer prior to submitting the enrollment.
    • A confirmation email will be sent to the email address the customer provides.

*As a benefit of your enrollment in a Service Extend plan at the time of today's service visit, you will receive a 50% discount (up to $500) on the first $1,000 of your completed in-home repair service (retail cost of parts and labor for one repair). If you cancel your plan at any time before the initial one-year commitment expires, you will be responsible for the difference between the full retail cost of the original in-home repair service and the discounted amount you paid, and this cost will be charged to the payment method on file.
